One of the most beautiful ridge walks in the region
Ascend by the Asitz cable railway – you can walk either in the direction of Biberg or in the direction of Spielberghorn.
From Asitz top station in Leogang to the Biberg in Saalfelden::
Pleasant ridge walk from the top station of the Asitzbahn in the direction of Asitzbräu, Alte Schmiede over the large Asitz (summit cross 1914 m ) - in the direction of south to the Geierkogel hut (refuge) - Durchenkopf - descent possible via Path 22 to the centre of Leogang or continue to the Biberg - Huggenbergalm with an unforgettable panoramic view – you can descend to Saalfelden with the summer tobogganing rail or by chair lift.

From Asitz top station in Leogang to the Spielberghorn and back to the Asitz valley station:
Ridge hike from the top station of the Asitzbahn in the direction of west to the Schönleiten hut and Seidlalm (a possible rest break) – ascend to the Wildenkarkogel - short descent to the Kohlmaiskopf - continue along Path 32 to the Bärenkopf (refuge) - sloping off to the Spielberghorn i.e. on Path 33b to the Spielberg alp to the Scheltau alp (cultivated alp) - descend via Almböden to Rastbodenbauern - return to Hütten valley station Leoganger Bergbahnen.
