Introduction to the sensory experience theme park
(for groups also at other times, by arrangement)
Venue at the meetingpoint "Sagenplatz" in the sensory experience theme park (middle station): an enthralling myth from the mountains and describe the mountain panorama. With our gongs and singing bowls we show you that sounds are not just for hearing but for sensing
The experiential field to unfolding the senses, according to Hugo Kükelhaus, was first presented at the world fair in Montreal (1967). Exhibitions followed in German cities and for the first time in Salzburg in 1990. The „World of Senses“, as an ambulatory exhibition, was first shown on the Asitz in Leogang in 1999, in collaboration with the „Educational Action Upper Austria“.
The Leogang Mountain Lift Company has stayed true to this theme and since then have opened their Sensory Adventure Park, with its 25 stations, every summer.
“How can a human become personified again, capable of being consciously aware of his organs so that he can be in harmony with himself? Thereto, very close immediate contact with nature’s great phenomena and her regularities is necessary, as the human emulates these phenomena of nature and her regularities exactly“. (Hugo Kükelhaus)
The Sensory Adventure Park gives one the possibility to be really aware of one’s senses. At the same time a person can discover his origins, can identify himself and also gain completely new experiences. In wonderful unison with nature entirely.
