Walker | Non-skiers
Our Asitz cable car offers the following options for non skiers during the day (please note times of operation):
Single day ticket with the Asitz cable car (ride up & down – valid to the Top Station). Adult = € 14,50 (Winter 2011/12).
Non skiers can reach the following huts with the Asitz cable car:
Top Station: Alte Schmiede + NEW! Asitzbräu: www.alteschmiede-leogang.com
From here you can take the new Panorama Winter Walking Path to the Kleiner Asitz (alongside the Piste 87 at 1.760m altitude) to the Asitz reservoir at 1.873m altitude. Walking time up and down from the Top Station is approx. 1 hour.
Then you ride down to the valley with the Asitz cable car (walking down on the piste is not allowed).
Suggestion: take a stopover at the Stöcklalm by the Middle Station on your way down: www.stoecklalm.at. Last ride to the valley with the Asitz cable car is at 4.30pm!)
From the Stöcklalm you can taboggan down to the Forsthofalm, during the day, from1pm to 4pm. Taboggans can be hired at the Middle Station.
From the bottom of the toboggan run at the Forsthofalm www.forsthofalm.at , you can either walk on a winter hiking path over the Schwarzleotal back to the Asitz Valley Station (walking time approx. 1 – 1 ½ hours)
or
take the Almlift back to the Asitz Middle Station and ride comfortably down to the Valley Station with the Asitz cable car.
Gastronomy in the valley
It is not possible for people to ride down to the valley with the Almbahn.
